Blizzard has confirmed that the DDoS attack that plagued its games (including Diablo 4) for much of the weekend is now over.
Earlier today, Blizzard confirmed that used to be “Is currently investigating an issue affecting our authentication servers, which may result in failed or slow login attempts,” while the player shared a screenshot of the notification that popped up on Battle.net on social media, clearly confirming that it was a “DDoS attack.” ” This resulted in “high latency and disconnections for some players.”
After promising that the team was “actively working to mitigate this issue”, the account later posted an update: “We continue to actively monitor an ongoing DDOS attack that is impacting our game’s latency/connectivity”. An estimated date or time for a resolution was not provided at the time.
Fast forward to this evening, however, and the problem appears to have been resolved.
“The DDOS attack we’re monitoring has ended,” the team revealed, before linking players who were still reporting issues to a troubleshooting page.

Blizzard’s Rod Ferguson recently revealed You’ll need to create a brand new character to participate in Diablo 4’s upcoming battle pass.
The Battle Pass is scheduled to launch alongside other seasonal content in mid-to-late July, which means your existing characters (including class upgrades and gear) won’t be able to access the new content, as you won’t be able to access the new content. Had to start from scratch.
