According to a new rumor from the tech grapevine, an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D CPU has been spotted, along with some possible specs.
The Ryzen 9 7945HX3D may be based on the Zen 4 core architecture, has 16 cores, 32 threads, and supports PBO overclocking and tuning functions.leaker’s Weibo technology account (via twitter user Veracillin) also said it may have a 3D V-Cache offering 128 MB of capacity, “dual CCD configuration with 64 MB of stacked cache on one of the two CCDs and the remaining 64 MB of cache from the two Zen 4 chips.”
Another Twitter user, mount everest, more specs seem to have been spotted via the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 laptop spec sheet. From there we find clock speeds up to 5.4 GHz with a configurable TDP between 55W and 75W.
Judging by these leaks, the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D is likely for high-end laptops. The ROG Strix Scar 17 listed in the spec sheet features an Nvidia RTX 4090, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 240Hz IPS display. AMD could heat up Intel
What makes this rumor so interesting is that, based on possible specs, the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D could compete with Intel’s Raptor Lake-HX and upcoming 14th-gen CPU refreshes.Considering how good the CPU is AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D As it turns out, this makes the 7945HX3D even more believable.
Not to mention, based on preliminary benchmark scores, the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX is already very close to Intel’s 13th Gen Core i9-HX series. AMD’s Dragon Range line of CPUs may not just be one The best AMD processors but also one of best processor Generally speaking.
Pricing is probably the biggest hurdle for the 7945HX3D. The 7950X3D is more expensive than the 7950X3D at $699. Intel Core i9-13900K, with an MSRP of $589 / £699 / AU$929. No matter how solid the performance, it may be difficult to get cash-strapped PC gamers to buy these CPUs, as the upgrade only makes sense for those using AMD Zen 3 or 11th Gen Intel processors or earlier. Budget-conscious buyers are more likely to look for cheaper options.
