Once a machine has learned self-awareness, it will have the ability to form its own identity.
Self-awareness at this stage is currently impossible. To make self-awareness possible, scientists need to find a way to replicate consciousness in machines.

ANI uses data sets with specific information to accomplish tasks and cannot go beyond the data provided to it.
