ChatGPT proves that AI is more dangerous than we thought

ChatGPT is a sophisticated AI chatbot developed by AI research company OpenAI. Artificial intelligence technology is being added to Microsoft products, including the company’s search engine, Bing.
ChatGPT is a generative artificial intelligence capable of generating content from text to images, conversing with humans, suggesting edits to computer programming code, and more. Through extensive training using social media, websites, articles, datasets, books, and other forms of text on the internet, chatbots are able to answer questions or assist humans with queries or tasks.
ChatGPT will be one of the most disruptive forces in the future of specific industries such as big tech, education and commerce, as well as the future of the human workforce in the next few years.

Furthermore, it has serious limitations. Currently, chatbots are being used by most industries to test the accuracy of the information they are already proficient against compared to the answers provided by ChatGPT.
However, several professional industries are already leveraging AI to help complete tasks faster and more efficiently, although the use of ChatGPT and other chatbots has been questioned.
In healthcare, doctors are testing the accuracy of diagnoses provided by ChatGPT, and patients are using chatbots to obtain information on diseases, medications, and other health-related topics.
“AI-generated recommendations were found to provide unique perspectives and were rated as highly understandable and relevant, with moderate usefulness,” researchers from a pilot study at Vanderbilt University Medical Center wrote in the study. Experts in the legal field are using ChatGPT to experiment with wills and testamentary making, to decide on court decisions, and to answer legal-related questions.

Journalists and writers are utilizing chatbots to assist writers in blocking and content creation. Media companies including publishers of BuzzFeed and Sports Illustrated have announced plans to use ChatGPT to generate content such as quizzes and articles.
Students are using a new wave of so-called generative artificial intelligence to write essays and complete homework. Some schools have blocked access to services on their networks to prevent cheating, while others actively encourage students to use the tools ethically.
What are the dangers of ChatGPT?
While there are many advantages to the development and advancement of ChatGPT in business, education, etc., it is relevant to realize that technology is not always accurate. The resources used to train ChatGPT were not fact-checked, the generative AI was prone to bias, and it relied on human feedback to improve accuracy.
“They’re definitely biased,” expert Flavio Villanustre told Fox News Digital. “Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to deal with from a coding perspective. It’s very difficult to prevent bias from happening.”
The technique is also prone to “hallucinating”. In the case of ChatGPT, hallucinations occur when the AI provides responses that appear to be real, correctly formed, and contain appropriate language, but are completely intimidated.
Beyond the level of inaccuracy, there are concerns that generative AI like ChatGPT could become too human-like. There are four levels of development in artificial intelligence; reaction machines, limited memory, theory of mind, and self-awareness.
ChatGPT passes a theory of mind test commensurate with the abilities of a 9-year-old as of February 2023.

“Does that mean all of these people should suddenly be dependent on the government and lose their jobs? No,” Mattman said. “We sometimes know this five, ten years in advance. What types of subject matter expertise should we be thinking about, what types of different activities, what are the cues that these employees should put their subject matter data and all their knowledge into, because that’s what Where we’re going to fall behind, we’re going to need to help automate those activities.”

When was ChatGPT released?

Who created ChatGPT?
OpenAI, a San Francisco-based artificial intelligence research lab, created ChatGPT, and Microsoft added it to their products, including Bing. Search giant rivals Google and Baidu are pushing to launch similar tools. Google’s chatbot Bard will have a limited release in March 2023. Baidu also launched Ernie bot in March 2023.
Alibaba, a Chinese multinational technology company, released its own chatbot synonym Qianwen in April 2023.
