Lucasfilm Games has confirmed that a new Indiana Jones game is in development.Developed by the studio behind it, MachineGames Wolfensteinthe next adventure of Universal Archaeologists has finally begun.
Helmed by Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard, there’s still a lot to be said about the upcoming adventure game. However, we do know that the title will explore a new story centered on the height of Indy’s career.

New Raiders of the Lost Ark Game Story and Setting
Given that this is an Indiana Jones game, we’ll be able to look forward to an exciting adventure filled with brash heroism and ancient ruins.
Thankfully, the trailer does offer some useful tidbits that enterprising viewers can use to piece together parts of the plot. Given that the trailer shows a map of the Vatican City and the text part says “I’ll arrive in Rome,” it looks like we’ll be seeing Dr. Jones adventure in Italy.
Given that Indy’s ticket is dated 1937, our heroes may have to contend with the machinations of Italy’s fledgling fascist party as Europe teeters on the brink of World War II. This also means the game will be set (at least in part) a year after the first Indiana Jones movie: Movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark”.
Books like Ancient Circles, Forbidden Stones and Myths that Made Us hint that, in typical Indiana Jones style, the adventure will feature mysterious myths and ancient artifacts with supernatural powers.
