1. Who invented artificial intelligence?
There are some major names that are often considered to be artificial intelligence. One of them was British logician, computer scientist and mathematician Alan Turing, who made significant contributions to the field before his death in 1954. These include his creation of the Turing Machine, which implements computer algorithms, and his famous book “On Computable Numbers, with an Application to the Entscheidungsproblem,” concepts that paved the way for the capabilities of modern computers.
According to HistoryofInformation.com, Warren McCulloch and Walter Pitts wrote “A Logical Calculus of Inner Thought in Neural Activity,” which builds on the artificial smart model. Neural networks allow computers to process information in a way that mimics the activity of the human brain. John McCarthy coined the term in 1955, according to ComputerHistory.org. He is also the inventor of Lisp, which became the programming language of choice for AI work.

One of the biggest AI companies making waves lately is OpenAI, which has a partnership with Microsoft. If you’re not familiar with OpenAI, you’re probably familiar with its product, ChatGPT.
ChatGPT has become one of the most talked about artificial intelligence systems in history. According to the OpenAI website, it is “trained to follow instruction prompts and provide detailed responses.” When operating ChatGPT, users can input anything into the system and they will get an AI-generated response in return.
ChatGPT sparked public concern, and even some AI leaders, such as Elon Musk, expressed concerns about the ethics of AI regulation.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT has recently dominated the AI conversation, but many other companies are also exploring, developing and investing in this revolutionary technology.

Artificial intelligence “godfather” on AI may wipe out human beings: “It’s not inconceivable”
Google recently launched Bard, its own artificial intelligence system for chatbots. Adobe also offers AI products, including Sensei, which claims to “bring the power of AI and machine learning to experiences,” and Firefly, which uses generative AI technology.
Amazon also uses artificial intelligence. If you’ve ever used Amazon, you’re used to seeing products recommended for you. This is one way the company is using AI to figure out what types of products you might be interested in buying based on your previous searches and purchase history. Amazon also connects its AI assistant, Alexa, to all of its Echo devices. You can ask Alexa any question you want, and the system will give you the answer.
Apple offers Siri, an artificial intelligence software, that works in a similar way to Alexa. AI is also used in Apple Maps and its facial recognition features.
Baidu is a Chinese company that competes with Google. The platform has developed voice cloning technology that is believed to be highly authentic, raising concerns about deepfakes. In 2018, its research department Claims to be able to clone a human voice in 3 seconds.

IBM is another AI pioneer, offering a computer system that can compete with humans in strategy games and even engage in debates. Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com has also invested heavily in AI. According to Forbes, company founder Liu Qiangdong has embarked on an ambitious path to 100% automation in the future.
Another well-known company with deep AI roots is Tesla, the electric car company founded by Musk, which uses artificial intelligence in its vehicles to assist in various tasks such as self-driving.
3. How does artificial intelligence work?
Due to its extreme complexity, it is difficult to analyze the function of artificial intelligence.
Fundamentally, AI works by “combining large amounts of data with fast, interactive processing and intelligent algorithms that enable software to automatically learn from patterns or features in the data,” according to SAS.com.

Reactive machines refer to the most basic form of artificial intelligence compared to other machines; this type of artificial intelligence cannot form any memory of its own or learn from experience.
Unlike reactive machines, limited-memory AIs are able to look back into the past. A common example of an artificial machine with limited memory is a self-driving car.
Theory of mind artificial intelligence involves very complex machines that are still being researched today but will likely form the basis of future artificial intelligence technologies. These machines will be able to understand people and develop and create complex ideas about the world and the people in it, generating original ideas of their own.
Finally, the final frontier of AI technology revolves around machines with self-awareness.While leading experts believe that technologies such as chatbots lack of self-awarenessthey mimic human skills, leading some to suggest that we may have to redefine our concepts of self-awareness and perception.
