Unfortunately for Sandberg and the film’s cast and wider crew, Wonder Woman’s cameo was unexpectedly spoiled early wrath of the gods‘ Post.A TV commercial for the film, which aired last weekend (March 11/March 12, 2012), confirms that she will be in Shazam! 2 — the news led Sandberg to tweet a warning to his followers about the spoiler-centric ad, as well as any other major spoilers audiences would want to avoid before seeing the movie on the big screen.

It’s unclear why Warner Bros. decided to release Wonder Woman’s cameo in the TV spot. Perhaps studio execs are concerned that the upcoming DCEU film will not do well at the box office, and think that the reveal of Wonder Woman’s appearance might send some viewers who might have been on the fence about seeing the film in theaters to their local movie theaters. , to see how Diana fits the plot into the plot.
