New tricks for old apps
When the iPhone came out in 2007, Apple’s preloaded weather, stocks, and calculator apps were pretty basic. It’s easy to forget about these default offerings a year later once more-featured third-party apps emerge. Over time, though, Apple and Google have added many new features to these old apps and added new products.
Here’s a quick guide to several Apple and Google-made apps — and how to delete them, if you still Never use them.

To set up and track your stock portfolio, click the “Stocks” button and add stock symbols, mutual funds, and more to your watchlist. Google provides news articles related to your listing, and you can save a Google Finance Shortcuts to your home screen.
