
New details on Garmin’s upcoming smartwatch, Forerunner 965It has been leaked by yet another hasty online store, giving us our first look at the device in high resolution.

Other photos reveal what the system UI will look like on the device, such as more information being simultaneously displayed on the home screen. Map functionality has also been improved. This time around, turn-by-turn directions take up less real estate on the Forerunner 965’s face, making it easier to see where you’re going when using the map.
Other than that, the SwimOutlet listing didn’t reveal much other information.Not sure what other features, new or returning ECG app, will appear on the Forerunner 965. However, the price of this smartwatch is: $599.99, which is cheaper than the initial guess.Release date remains a mystery Screenshot from iRun.Fr website (opens in a new tab), a French online fitness retailer, hinted that the March 2 launch is less than a week away. But even that date is debatable, as others claim it’s actually March 14.
Garmin’s Forerunner 265 leaked
Besides the Forerunner 965, some new marketing images coming soon Forerunner 265 and 265s duo also leaked (opens in a new tab). Apart from the variety of colors the two devices will come in, little has been revealed. The Forerunner 265 is available in black/grey, aqua blue and white stone, while the smaller 265s model comes in a striking black and yellow combo, light pink and a lighter white stone.
It’s worth pointing out that both watches will feature an AMOLED screen. This is backed up by previous leaks, but without official confirmation, it’s hard to be sure. As far as specs go, nothing else hasn’t been leaked. Previous rumors claimed the Forerunner 265’s battery life was “up to 13 days in smartwatch mode” [or] 20 hours in GPS mode” will cost approximately $449 to $499—depending on the region.
Of course, take everything here with a grain of salt. Things can always change at the last minute. However, given the frequency of these leaks over the past month or so, we probably won’t have to wait long for Garmin to announce something.
