
The rumor mill is spinning again; this time, it’s reports of a new iMac model that could hit store shelves as early as late 2023.
According to Mark Gurman in Bloomberg (opens in a new tab), the iMac will skip the Apple M2 chip and jump to the Apple M3 chip. “Before the M3 chip generation, I didn’t see any indication that there would be a new iMac, and it wouldn’t arrive until late this year or next year at the earliest,” Gurman said in his newsletter.

Still, it would be a pity to arrive so late at the scene.
Is an M3 iMac really likely to be released?
This isn’t the first time rumors have surfaced about an M3 iMac, as Gurman’s make the same claim 2022, until the year of release.Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also chimed in past and exhibit Rumors suggest that the Mac Pro and iMac Pro will be released in 2023.
He also noted that the M3 iMac will feature a “similar form factor,” which matches what Apple has done with the Mac mini and MacBook Pro, changing the internal design while keeping the exterior largely the same.
While there’s no official confirmation about the next iMac with the M3 chip or this year’s release, Apple hasn’t included the iMac in its apple computer, mike miniand MacBookPro.
It looks like an M3 iMac launch is at least on track, with reports from such reliable sources that, while there’s no official confirmation, it’s important to take all of this with a grain of salt.
