Email can sometimes feel stilted and formal, though there is a way to add a personal touch. Most people already do this from their desktop email browser.

You can also do this from your iPhone or iPad email instead of using the default “Send from my iPhone” or “Send from my iPad” signature.

  • If you use multiple email addresses in the mail application and use the same email signature for all accounts, make sure all accounts is checked.Tick ​​if you want to use a different signature for each account per account.

How to add formatting to your signature

iOS Email Signature allows you to change basic settings of text such as bold, italic and underline. However, it doesn’t let you change the color, font, or font size, or add images. There is a way to solve this problem and we have prepared steps for you.

You can create a signature, which can be the signature you use on all your messages, or your name and phone number. For the example below, we’ll create a bold signature with a phone number.

  • To create a new format signature, on your iOS device, Write a new message first
  • As an option for signing, you can include
    Your name and phone number or it can be something as simple as a signature “Best wishes, [insert name]”
