2. You have to screen for bloatware

It’s not just the programs you want that slow you down. Most computers come preinstalled with unnecessary apps and programs known as bloatware.

Go through your app list to identify any that you never use, and follow the steps below to remove them.

Here’s how to remove unused apps from Windows 10:

4. You keep skipping updates

Yes, it’s annoying that your computer keeps wanting to update while you’re doing something. But trust me when I say it’s worth it.

Microsoft regularly releases updates to add new features or fix bugs that can leave you vulnerable to hackers and malware.

Automatic updates are turned on by default, but you can manually check for updates at any time by going to Start > Settings > Windows Updatethen choose Check for updates.

App publishers also update their apps to add new features and fix bugs. The Microsoft Store can install these updates automatically.

5. You are a malware magnet

No matter what a computer is used for, it is always vulnerable.
