You can enable Stage Manager on iPad in two different ways. The first way is to swipe down from the upper right corner of the iPad screen and select the Stage Manager icon.

  • Open the Settings app

How to move and resize different windows

Once the Stage Manager application is launched, you will be able to open multiple windows at once and move and resize them the way you want. There are several ways to do this, depending on whether you’re using a touchscreen, mouse, or trackpad.

If you are using a touchscreen:

  • open a new window
  • Look in any bottom corner of the window and find the little handle icon
  • Touch and hold the icon and drag around to resize the window.

It’s important to note that if you’re only using one window at a time, the main window you’re working on will appear in the center of the screen, while any other apps you have open will slide to the left side of the screen and appear in list format. How to multitask with multiple windows at the same time

Stage Manager allows multitasking with up to 4 applications simultaneously. You can do this on iPad in 3 different ways:

1. Use three dots

  • In the top center of the window that opens, click the three dots
  • Choose to add another window
  • The current window will move to one side and display a list of applications you can add. choose one.

In addition to the “Add Another Window option,” the three dots at the top center of each window allow you to put an individual window into full-screen mode, minimize the window (without closing it), or close the application entirely.

2. Use the recent apps list

  • Your recently used apps will appear in a list format on the left side of the screen

  • Drag it to the current window.

3. Using the dock

  • The bottom of the screen is where the Dock and all other apps (iMessage, Maps, Calendar, etc.) live
  • Touch and hold any app in the Dock and drag it to the center of the screen.

How to switch between applications

When you’re working in one app and want to switch to another, the app you’re currently using will automatically move to the “Recent Apps” list on the left side of the screen and will be Any new application replacement. You can switch between applications by performing any of the following steps:
