- Open Chrome or whatever browser you’re using on Android
- click on three dots in the upper right corner and select set up
- In the Settings menu, select site settings
- In the Site Settings menu, select Pop-ups and redirects and turn off the feature
- If you also have ad notifications for certain products on your phone, go back to the site settings page and select Notice.
In some cases, a pop-up ad appears on your Android device and you accidentally click on it. If your phone starts opening a lot of tabs after this, your device is likely infected with adware. Don’t worry, though. This problem can still be solved.
