The LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Mop features a detachable steam mop nozzle for practical wet mopping and steam mopping. This promises convenient and effective mopping performance, cleaning surfaces without the use of any detergents. Cleaning with steam is also known to kill over 99% of germs, steam heats up quickly but cleans very effectively. The steam-powered mop nozzle also features dual sensors to help prevent the attachment’s steam generator from overheating, and an advanced automatic water supply system to keep the mopping pad moist during mopping.
If you’re concerned about safety, knowing that the steam supply shuts off when the nozzle comes off the floor or remains stationary for about 20 seconds and the mop pad stops spinning after about a minute of inactivity should provide some degree of reassurance.
But it’s not just about mopping, as the cordless vacuum also features LG’s Axial Turbo Cyclone technology, which helps remove dust and debris from floors and other household surfaces by creating powerful suction. Of course, it’s best to use the LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop on a hard floor surface like sealed wood or tile, rather than wool carpet, so before you pull out your wallet; suitability and usability are a consideration.
The all-in-one tower that accompanies the vacuum cleaner is LG’s space-saving and fast-charging docking station. It features replaceable dust bags, an automatic bin emptying system and an intuitive display that provides real-time status updates. The dock also offers a choice of three different alarm/notification melodies and stores any CordZero vacuum accessories you want to keep within easy reach.
We’re looking forward (hoping) to get some hands-on experience with the LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop as it becomes easier to pick up at dealerships—and hopefully it’ll be a challenger for our list of the best cordless vacuums.
