Five of Riot’s most popular in-house titles, including Valorant and League Of Legends, are coming to Xbox Game Pass on December 12. This is part of Riot’s partnership with Microsoft, but you don’t need to actually play the game to get some free in-game swag and unlockables.
All you need is a Riot Games account and a Xbox Game Pass Memberships can be picked up from December 12th. There are even more in-game giveaways to take advantage of if you connect before January 1st.

If you’re not sure how to link your accounts, Riot Games has Published a comprehensive guide (opens in a new tab) Partnerships and how to link accounts. Once complete, you’ll be able to claim in-game giveaways when the following games arrive on Game Pass:
- heroic
- League of Legends
- Legends of Runeterra
- Teamfight Tactics
- League of Legends: Wild Rift
The mobile game League of Legends: Wild Rift was one of the first mobile games available on Game Pass, but just because it’s on a different platform doesn’t mean you won’t get free stuff. Players will receive pre-unlocks for all current and future characters.
Likewise, for League of Legends players, you’ll unlock all 160+ champions and have an XP buffer to boot.
Valorant players who linked their Riot and Game Pass accounts will also find all playable heroes unlocked. You’ll earn 20% more XP on Event Passes, Battle Passes, and Agent progress. Speaking of Agents, you’ll also get all future characters unlocked from day one of launch, which means it’s a gift that just keeps on giving.
Linking accounts also means you’ll get access to all Foundation cards in Legends of Runeterra, a game available on PC and mobile.
Fans of Teamfights Tactics will get four arena skins and add a rare minor legendary tactician to their game. Beginning April 2023, linked players will receive a new Arena skin every month as part of the rotation.
