Oppo Find N2 release date and price
According to a known leaker Panda is bald (opens in a new tab)in a Weibo post by playful robot (opens in a new tab)Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip are both set to launch on December 15.
This is apparently a day after Oppo’s annual Innovation Day event, which makes sense since we’ve seen devices unveiled at the event in the past, not to mention the company’s original Oppo Find N foldable. The phone debuted on December 15 last year.
Also, Digital Chat Station – another notable leaker – previously posted on weibo (opens in a new tab) Says the phones will land in mid-December. So December 15th looks likely.
It’s worth noting, though, that this launch may only be for China.Whether and when we’ll see these phones in other regions is uncertain, although the leaker @universe ice (opens in a new tab) It is claimed that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available globally, while the Find N2 will not.
There’s no word yet on the price of the Oppo Find N2, but the original Find N retailed for 7,699 yen (around $1,100 / £910 / AU$1,650), so it’s possible the upcoming model will have a similar price – despite the switch Unlikely to be accurate anyway.
We don’t even know the price of the Oppo Find N2 Flip, but @UniverseIce Say (opens in a new tab) It won’t cost more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which starts at $999.99 / £999 / AU$1,499.
Oppo Find N2 Design and Display
We know a lot more about the design of the Oppo Find N2 Flip than the standard Find N2, as renders and even a brief hands-on video of the Flip have leaked.
First, the video is created by Fenibook on Weibo (opens in a new tab)but you can see most of it in the GIF below, shared by leaker @universe ice (opens in a new tab).

The phone is clearly in a case here, so some details are hidden, but you can see a design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but with a larger screen. There also appears to be a dual-lens camera.
Want to see no cases?twitter user @yabhishekhd (opens in a new tab) The image below was shared showing the same design.
according to digital chat station (opens in a new tab)The Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 3.26-inch OLED cover screen, which would make it considerably larger than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4’s 1.9-inch screen. It also apparently has a 6.8-inch 120Hz foldable OLED screen with a 1080 x 2520 resolution.
As for the standard Oppo Find N2, the same source another post (opens in a new tab) It is claimed to have a 7.1-inch 120Hz foldable display. In another post, they claim (opens in a new tab) The resolution is 1792 x 1920, and the Find N2 has a 5.54-inch 1080 x 2120 overlay display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Interestingly, they also say that Oppo already makes a device with a leather finish, but most versions currently use glass, so it’s unclear if a leather version will ever retail.
It will also apparently weigh less than 240 grams, According to @UniverseIce (opens in a new tab), very light for a foldable phone. For comparison, the original Oppo Find N weighed 275 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 weighed 263 grams, and even the non-foldable iPhone 14 Pro Max weighed 240 grams.
Another source, named “experience more (opens in a new tab)‘, to be more specific, the leather version weighs 233 grams and the glass version weighs 237 grams. They also claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip weighs 191 grams.
Oppo Find N2 camera and battery
in the post found playful robot (opens in a new tab)Digital Chat Station has also leaked the camera of the Oppo Find N2, claiming that it has a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 114-degree field of view, and a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
These are apparently the same cameras as the upcoming OnePlus 11, which is notable since foldable phones haven’t always matched the camera prowess of traditional flagships.
The source added that the Oppo Find N2 apparently has optical image stabilization (OIS) on its primary lens and benefits from Hasselblad camera optimizations. The Find N2 apparently has a 32MP selfie camera on each screen.
According to Digital Chat Station in another weibo (opens in a new tab).
In the same article, they claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 4,300mAh battery with possible 44W charging, while elsewhere they say the standard Find N2 has a 4,520mAh battery that is believed to offer 67W charging according to another source (opens in a new tab).
Oppo Find N2 specifications and features
According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find N2 has a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which is the top-of-the-line Android chipset for 2022 (except for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is pretty much useless). They also say it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will run Android 13 with Oppo’s ColorOS 13 interface on top.
leaker also has post screenshot (opens in a new tab) Looking at the phone, it shows 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.Elsewhere, a “More Experience” post by the leaker on Weibo claims the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset in the phone will be downclocked (opens in a new tab)so it might be stronger than normal.
As for the Oppo Find N2 Flip, it is also expected to run Android 13 overlaying ColorOS 13 and feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but other specifications may vary. It is reported to have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, according to “Experience More” in the same post as above.
Some sites also report a Dimensity 9200 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, but it’s unclear where those specs come from. Regardless, these are shaping up to be some of the best foldable phones around.
