Some Gmail users can now customize the layout of their emails.
The option is currently only available on the web for the Google Workspace version, and was first announced in a blog post last summer.
People can choose predetermined layouts, add logos, and control formatting, including colors, fonts, and images.
In order to set up the template, the user should click Compose and find the Layout button in the row of icons next to the Send button.

From there, a layout gallery will open.
Select a thumbnail to see a preview of the layout on the right.
After choosing a layout, choose Default Style to customize the template.
In the footer details, the user can enter a name and address, and the link allows the user to add a URL.

Make sure to save your changes to confirm your modifications, then select Insert to add the layout to the email.
There, the user can change the image and possibly delete parts of the template.
Click the Layout button again to start over.
