Myth: When you unsend a text, the recipient never knows.

Reality: Your recipients are notified.

Myth: When you delete a text, it disappears.

Reality: Those deleted messages remain for a while.

When you delete a text string, it’s stored in your iPhone’s Recently Deleted Messages folder for 30 days. You can restore it immediately or delete it permanently. It also means anyone with your password can see your deleted messages.
