When is Jeff Peanut Butter coming back?
We are still trying to learn more about it, but we can confirm that it is currently unknown. There is no way to know when Jif Peanut Butter will be back in stores. J. Jeff’s Peanut Butter will be back on shelves.
How to identify containers with salmonella?
Most of the JIF products released on May 20 were voluntarily pulled from store shelves during the recall. Thousands of cans of pumpkin butter were pulled from the shelves. According to the JIF website, containers coded between 1274425-210425 will be released. JIF urged consumers to discard any peanut butter purchased within the last 24 hours. They don’t want to offend their customers. You don’t want to upset your customers, so leave it and wait for Jeff to hit the shelf.
But unfortunately for Smucker’s, the recall extends to about 50 peanut butter products and other companies that buy and use those products. That means J. Smucker’s vision could be worth more than $125 million.

Jeff’s Manufacturing Plant in Lexington, Kentucky is the largest producer of peanut butter in the world.

Americans eat over 270 million pounds of Jeff each year…just Jeff…and that’s not counting Skippy, Peter Pan, and countless peanut butters.
The good news for Jeff’s lovers across the country is that they will soon be back on shelves. JIF officials told the Lexington-Herald Leader that the Lexington plant recently began taking orders from customers.
What is Salmonella?
Salmonella, for example, is a rod-shaped bacterium in the Enterobacteriaceae family. Salmonella infection can cause intestinal problems in the body. Salmonella infection can also cause diarrhea. Typhoid fever may also occur. Salmonella infection can cause joint pain. Salmonella infection can cause headache, diarrhea, fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, high fever, or chills.
Severe, sometimes fatal, infections can occur after eating salmonella. Children, the elderly and men with weakened immune systems should avoid it.
What other JIF products are affected by the JIF Back Shelf?
Pumpkin Butter Jars are Jeff’s most popular product. Pumpkin seed oil can also be found in other JIF products. The JIF peanut butter package is available from September 1, 2021 through May 20, 2022. A free invitation is also available.
Some products that may come to mind include Jeff’s or Del Monte’s peanut butter, applesauce and peanut butter, PB&J sandwiches, or applesauce with peanuts.
The May 20 recall affected dozens of JIF products, resulting in thousands of cans of peanut butter being pulled from store shelves. Jiff urges customers to discard certain products containing peanut oil immediately.

The potentially contaminated products were distributed nationwide and at various grocery stores and other grocery stores, including 7-Eleven and Circle-K. JIF is working to identify other products that may be contaminated with salmonella, and is in the process of recalling those affected by the recall.
Customers may request a refund for a returned JIF product.
If you purchased a JIF product covered by the recall, you may request a refund by submitting a product return request through the JIF website. On the order form, you will need to provide the UPC and product code from the affected product. Although you are limited to five products to submit, JIF does not limit the number of forms you can submit.
Jim Smucker, a JIF company, is working to identify other products that may be contaminated with salmonella. Additionally, consumers are advised to check the company’s website and the FDA’s website for updates.
While Smucker works to resolve the issues, it is not yet known what financial impact the recall will have for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2022.
J. Salmonella is a type of bacteria that is especially harmful to people who are young, weak, and have weakened immune systems.
