According to the Big Announcement livestream, which premiered today, Fall Guys will be free to stream.
As of June 21, 2022, Fall Guys Season 1 Will be available to all players for free on all consoles. Anyone who has already purchased the game will be entitled to a free Legacy Pack, which includes:
- Three costumes (Veggie Dog, Regal, Lively Dwarf)
- Free Premium Season Pass (100 tiers)
You will no longer be able to spend crowns in the shop, instead the team is “strengthening crown tiers” with new stuff. However, honor still exists, which all players can earn and spend in the store. You can also exchange your crown for honor.
The game has also been re-confirmed for a Switch release on June 21 with the Epic Games Store, Xbox and PlayStation. There will be cross-platform multiplayer and cross-process.
Here are the details for the Switch version:
- Handheld is 30FPS and 720p
- Docked for 30FPS and 1080p
- You can use Joy-Con and Pro Pad at the same time
A new version of Fall Guys is now available for download on PS4, and players will Have If they want to keep playing, they can grab it. The PS5 and Xbox Series X are targeting 60FPS/4K, the Xbox Series S is 60FPS/2K, the Xbox One will be 30FPS, and the Xbox One X will hit 60FPS.
If you want to join the free game before June 21st, you can Pre-register on the Fall Guys websitewhich grants you access to exclusive perks such as clothing, emotes, and nameplates, depending on how many people sign up.
There’s also a new, massive update that’ll add new modes, new sports, new outfits, and more – but we won’t hear much more about it until closer to the summer release. However, we got to see a three-piece set of dragons and golden gladiators, as well as Blast Balls, a new sport to play with friends.
There are also some new IP collaborations coming soon:
- Ezio
- Puhin
- Three Godzillas (Godzilla, Mothra, Mecha Godzilla)
- New IP levels (they can’t talk about it yet)
and There’s also a new level creator mode that’s “under construction” and will appear in Fall Guys in the future – but it’s still a “fair way”.

Fall Guys is coming to Switch on June 21, offering cross-, cross-, and cross-platform play. It’s free, but players who have already paid will get a legacy pack that includes costumes and a premium season pass for free. 30FPS/720p for handheld and 30FPS/1080p for docked, you can expect more to come later this year.
